Making a Visit
Are you interested in having us come to your school, library, organization, or other event? Well, we definitely want to be there! We started this series because we both enjoy working with children and look forward to any opportunity to come present and share.
We generally like to make our visits together, although we do often split up into smaller groups for readings and discussions upon arrival. This seems to be the most beneficial to all those involved, as it gives us the chance to interact more closely with students. We're also able to go through the process of creating a book from start to finish, show samples at various stages of development, and discuss how we work together as an author and an illustrator.
Our visits are tailored to meet the needs and interests of our audience. We like to incorporate a mix of storytelling, slideshow presentations, interactive discussions, and question and answer sessions. Depending on the timing, we also try to reveal yet unreleased material as an added bonus.
