Our 'A' book features Ally Ann, an ordinary alligator who pursues various activities, but just can't seem to find one at which she excels.
She personifies the children who don't win the awards, aren't on the honor roll, and don't make the team. Join Ally Ann as she learns that being special doesn't always mean being the best.
As you share the story with a child, we hope opportunities arise to recognize and discuss issues or obstacles that children often have to deal with. It may also allow you the wondrous experience of helping the child identify their specialness.
In addition to a unique story that features alliteration, rhyming, and childlike elements, we've also tried to include some educational components for teachers and parents. All of the 'A' words are printed in green so that children can quickly identify them. On our Parents & Educators page you'll find activities and resources based upon Ally Ann and her adventures.
